Software Testing Engineer

Annual Salary: 6 Million and above

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.
• Perform thorough manual testing to identify defects and ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on software functionality.
• Document test results and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability and quality aspects.
• Assist in the development and implementation of testing strategies and best practices.
• Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on manual testing techniques.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software testing.

Job Qualification: 

• Strong expertise in Manual Testing methodologies and practices.
• Proficient in writing clear and concise test cases and test plans.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual testing.
• Japanese language proficiency at N2 or N3 level is mandatory.
• Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).

Language Skills: Business level Japanese (N2 and above) and Business level English
