Job Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the customer, position will be responsible for leading systems engineering activities, including systems requirements, system architecture/ design and system integration of Automotive Systems, with specific focus on Powertrain Control systems
- Responsible for selecting/creating software architecture in Powertrain domain. Attend Design Verification meeting and get approval. Guide team in implementing the architecture, review and deliver. Analyze field issues and find solutions. Get the solutions implemented and verify
- Check the Laws and regulation for the vehicle component (ECU)
- Systems engineering, modeling and validation activities analyzing requirements and assessing compliance, defining interfaces, flow down of system requirements to subsystems & components, system integration and system verification/ validation, around Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) centric methodologies, processes and practices
- Provide hands-on mentoring, training, and guidance on MBSE
- Support for design understanding and participation in design meetings
Job Qualifications:
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Practitioner in Systems Engineering, with hands-on experience pertaining to Automotive domain like Powertrain, Control systems
- Subject matter expert (SME) and Practitioner on MBSE with deep hands-on experience on MBSE toolchain including SysML modeling tools such as Astah, Cameo and Enterprise Architect
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture, analyze and validate system requirements spanning various Control systems
- Expertise in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
- Experience in Plant model development in Matlab/simulink
- Experience in Automotive Engine control design and development
- Expertise System architecture, control system design and analysis
- Expertise System integration, verification, validation
- Expertise with System V-Cycle and systems processes defined ISO/IEC15288
- Proven track record of complex problem solving
- Product and system engineering proficiency aligned with Automotive, Powertrain, transmission, control system
- Should have 11+ years of experience in MBSE, SysML, Powertrain, Control System, Plant model development
Preferred Qualifications:
- OEM, Tier1, supplier development experience.
- Experience in ECU design / ECU development.
- Experience in Matlab, Simulink model-based development (MBD) in automotive domain.
- Experience in ECU design process involved in V-cycle.
- Experience in MIL, SIL, HIL verification and validation.
- Experience in using CANoe or similar tools for validation.
Language Skill: Fluent level Japanese (JLPT N1) and Business english level.
