Job Description

The department focuses on infrastructure operation and maintenance and infrastructure environment construction for new customers, and promotes IT operation DX for its customers.

Since 2024, the team has been supporting the formulation of an execution plan toward the customer’s desired state of IT infrastructure managed services. Based on this plan, a system is being built to consolidate multiple vendors and provide services with uniform and stable operational quality, toward the operational system targeted in 5 years.

You will support the management and operation of network infrastructure that is directly linked to the business of a major trading company customer, and lead the technical aspects of supporting existing services and operations and new construction while communicating with the customer.

Job Responsibilities

Construction and operation of domestic and international networks

• Design, construction, maintenance, operation and management of network environments
• Construction: as there are requests for construction and configuration changes of network environments to meet new requirements, confirm requirements and carry out design, construction and maintenance
• Network operations such as configuration changes, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and performance analysis

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in network operation or construction
• Knowledge of networks, including products such as Cisco, Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet
• Experience creating construction and operation documents (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
• Communication skills (coordination with vendors and customers via email, telephone, etc.)
• Understanding and experience in operation and construction of multiple products from the following:
  • Palo Alto Networks: SASE (Prisma Access), PAC configuration
  • Zscaler: cloud proxy, PAC configuration

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding and experience in operation and construction of multiple technologies from the following: OSPF, BGP, SD-WAN, IPSec, ACL, VPN, SD-Access, 802.1X, RADIUS, VoIP, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN, FW/IPSec VPN, LB, iRules, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, Flow

Language Required: Fluent level Japanese (JLPT N1 and above) and Conversational level English.
