Job Description

This is a maintenance and operations lead position for a next-generation Azure cloud infrastructure being built for a major general trading company. In this project to migrate from a traditional IaaS-centric environment to a new cloud architecture that promotes PaaS utilization, you will be broadly responsible not only for stable operation but also for function expansion, operational sophistication and automation promotion. You will work closely with the customer and be involved in the evolution of the cloud infrastructure that supports DX and AI utilization.

The department provides managed services in a wide range of IT infrastructure areas, including networks, security, system infrastructure, PCs and mobile devices, and communication infrastructure, for a major general trading company. Due to the broad service area, there is an environment in which you can acquire knowledge in diverse technical fields, and the entire IT infrastructure of the customer is supported by collaborating across departments. Job Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and operation of the cloud infrastructure based on the Azure Landing Zone architecture
• Execution management of routine and non-routine operational tasks
• Promotion of incident management, problem management, change management and configuration management
• Handling various events related to customer initiatives and related projects
• Estimating, designing operations and handling actual operations for individual projects arising from maintenance and operation
• Proposing feature additions, implementation support and release support based on customer requests and technology trends
• Promoting standardization, automation and continuous improvement activities for operational tasks

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in system operation
• 3+ years of experience in system construction or operation and maintenance in an Azure environment
• Understanding of ITIL (equivalent to ITIL v4 Foundation or higher)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a leader or sub-leader in a team of 5 or more people
• Knowledge or practical experience in IaC
• Technical skills in the network domain (equivalent to CCNA or higher)
• Experience in system construction, operation and maintenance in an AWS or GCP environment
• Ability to proactively challenge new technologies and unfamiliar areas

Language Required: Fluent level Japanese (JLPT N1 and above) and Conversational level English.
