PLM Project Manager

Job Description

Annual Salary :  8 Million Yen and above

Job Responsibilities:

• Basic PLM configuration, system design, implementation, verification, and troubleshooting.
• PLM implementation, configuration and setup, integration with existing IT environments such as ERP, CAD, and CAE, and data migration.
• Upgrading, modifying, and changing existing PLM functions, as well as developing add-on functions.
• Provide technical consulting services and support for technical questions related to PLM solutions.
• Technical consulting on system expansion, maintenance, and operational design, including activities as a technical training instructor.
• Job responsibilities may be expanded depending on individual skills, experience, and language proficiency.

Job Qualifications & Experience:

• Knowledge of IT systems and 5+ years of practical experience in PLM.
• Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing operations.
• Technical experience in PLM project management using Teamcenter; experience with other PLM systems is also acceptable.
• Documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a Japanese-speaking environment, including reading and writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in design and development, production, manufacturing, or consulting.
• Experience managing medium-sized (10–50 person-months) or larger projects.
• PMP certification.
• Advanced or bilingual English speakers.
• System development experience: Web-based (.js/HTML).

Language & Communication Skills: Fluent level Japanese (JLPT N1 or higher) and Business level English
