Annual Salary: 10 Million Yen and above

Job Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership & Global Collaboration
  • Act as a key contributor to the global IT strategy, ensuring seamless integration of local Japanese operations with global IT systems and processes.  
  • Partner with global IT leadership to execute cross-border initiatives, including cloud transformation, cybersecurity modernization, and enterprise architecture. 
  • Represent Japan in global IT governance forums, contributing to policy development and long-term strategic planning.  
• Innovation & Emerging Technologies  
  • Drive the adoption of emerging technologies—such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and advanced analytics—to deliver measurable business value in alignment with global AI centers of excellence and demand management processes.  
• Project & Program Management
  • Lead local IT projects with end-to-end accountability for planning, execution, budgeting, risk management, and delivery.  
  • Ensure consistent project delivery excellence through agile methodologies, standardized governance, and continuous improvement practices following organizational standards, methods, and support tools.  
• People Leadership & Talent Development
  • Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing local IT team.  
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous learning, and performance excellence.  
  • Promote diversity, inclusion, and cross-cultural collaboration.  
• Governance, Compliance & Security  
  • Ensure adherence to global IT policies, data protection regulations, and industry-leading cybersecurity standards.  
  • Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks for IT operations, vendor management, service delivery, and risk management.  

Job Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Project Management (PMI) and/or Agile certifications are desirable.
• Professional Experience: 5-10 years of progressive experience in Information Technology, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles within ideally multinational organizations.
• Big Asset: Global Exposure, At least 3 years of international exposure, preferably with European or German organizations.
• Enterprise IT systems, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and digital transformation
• Strategic thinking with a strong global mindset
• Leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills

Langauge Required: Native level Japanese, Business level English proficiency
