Job Qualification:

DB Engineer

• Technical Requirements (Sufficient experience with data usage and integration; ability to identify causes of integration issues)
• Experience integrating data between heterogeneous databases using BigQuery, AWS, and SQL Server
• Experience developing business logic and automating processes using SQL
• Several years of experience developing databases and data integration in cloud environments
• Experience developing core databases (order processing, inventory management, sales, etc.)
• Ability to perform development tasks independently
• Experience with query performance tuning
• Experience handling nested columns and repeating columns
• Experience with post-RDB technologies like JSON and NoSQL
• Experience with real-time data acquisition and streaming data
• Experience handling digital data (web analytics, app analytics)
• Experience with data analysis and report creation tasks

Common Requirements

• Business Experience
• Experience in requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, and post-implementation support
• Crisis management (including ability to handle late-night emergency responses)
• Experience creating user manuals, documentation, and conducting training
• Experience formulating implementation plans and managing progress (project management)
• Budget management
• Experience in industries such as consumer goods or sales, or experience at a business company
• Experience supporting business users
• Experience negotiating with overseas counterparts

Language proficiency: Native Level Japanese (JLPT N) and Business Level english.
