Job Description

Appealing Points:

  • Lead the design and governance of enterprise-wide insider risk management programs, directly influencing organizational security strategy
  • Leverage advanced tools (UEBA, DLP, SIEM, EDR) to detect, analyze, and prevent insider threats, building deep cybersecurity expertise
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (HR, Legal, IT) and engage with executive leadership, strengthening leadership and strategic communication skills

Annual Salary:10 million yen and above

Responsibilities

 

  • Establishing and operating governance for the entire risk management program. Developing and improving policies, processes, and operational standards.
  • Proactive detection of malicious acts (information theft, data destruction, etc.), accidental information leaks (misdirected transmissions, inappropriate access, etc.), unauthorized access, and abnormal behavior by insiders. Analyzing incidents, identifying causes, and developing preventative measures.
  • Leading cross-functional responses with relevant departments (HR, legal, privacy, IT/security operations, etc.).
  • Managing UEBA (User Behavior Analysis), DLP (Data Loss Prevention), and SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)
  • endpoint monitoring functions to identify and mitigate internal risks.

 

Job Qualification:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Security, or Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven leadership in cyber defense, insider risk, or security response programs within global enterprises.
  • Strong understanding of insider threat vectors, behavioral analytics, and investigative methodologies.
  • Experience in establishing or scaling up a corporate insider risk management program Knowledge of international employment laws, privacy regulations, and ethical oversight processes.
  • Ability to prepare reports, visualize metrics, and prepare and communicate materials for boards of directors.
  • Work experience in the financial services industry or other highly regulated industries.
  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC)

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Insider Risk Management programs and operating models.
  • User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) platforms and use cases.
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and data monitoring controls
  • Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) and detection engineering
  • Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and identity-centric monitoring
  • Insider investigations, digital forensics, and case management

Japanese Language: Business level Japanese (N2) and Business level English.
