Annual salary: 12 million and above

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead FICO functional stream during SAP ECC migration to Azure Cloud.
• Conduct FIT-GAP workshops with Japanese business stakeholders to assess procurement and payment processes.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper integration of PTP modules with other systems.
• Support interface migration, including EDI integrations for purchase orders, invoices, and vendor communications.
• Work with Japanese business users to gather requirements, validate testing scenarios, and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with offshore teams for development, testing, and issue resolution.
• Assist in test planning, execution, and defect management for PTP functionalities.
• System Testing: Develop test scenarios, execute functional and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the configured solution meets business requirements.
• Data Migration Support: Collaborate with data migration teams to ensure accurate and timely migration of PTP and OTC relevant master and transactional data.
• Training & Documentation: Develop training materials and deliver training sessions to end-users in Japan, ensuring a smooth transition and user adoption. Create comprehensive functional specifications and other project documentation.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between global project teams, local business users, and external partners. Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice-versa.
• Go-Live & Post Go-Live Support: Provide critical support during go-live and hypercare phases, troubleshooting issues and ensuring system stability.
• Localization Expertise: Advise on and implement Japanese-specific legal, regulatory, and business requirements within SAP PTP and OTC processes

Job Qualification:

• SAP FICO consultant with 8-10 years of experience and strong understanding of  Financial Accounting (FI) Expertise , General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) , Asset Accounting and Bank Accounting , Tax configuration and compliance. , Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders.
• FI integration with MM (Procure-to-Pay) and SD (Order-to-Cash).
• Knowledge of cross-module postings and reconciliation.
• Good working experience in all the major areas of master data consistency (GL accounts, cost centers, vendors, customers).  Validate transactional data flows (invoices, payments, asset postings).
• Strong Japanese and English communication skills.
• Good Knowledge in other SAP functional areas – Finance, ABAP debugging will be added advantage.
• Hands-on experience with EDI integration (e.g., IDocs for PO, invoice, GR).
• Experience in cloud migration projects, preferably involving Azure.
• Good working experience in onsite-offshore model.

Nice to have:

• SAP HANA Certified in FICO
• Domain experience with Finance background

Language Skills: Fluent level Japanese (JLPT N1) and Business level English
