Job Description

  • We are looking for a Bilingual Body-in-White (BIW) Design Engineer with hands-on experience in automotive body components such as doors, hoods, and metal structures.
  • The role involves CAD design, modification, and collaboration with cross-functional global teams.
  • Design and develop BIW components (door, hood, metal parts, closures)
  • Create and modify 3D models and drawings using CATIA
  • Support design reviews, feasibility studies, and manufacturing coordination
  • Work closely with Japanese and global engineering teams

Qualification:

  • Experience in Body-in-White / automotive sheet metal design
  • Strong hands-on skills in CATIA
  • Knowledge of metal work, stamping, welding processes
  • Bilingual skills: Japanese (Business level or above) and English
  • Ability to work on-site in Nagoya

Preferred:

  • Experience with Japanese automotive OEMs or suppliers
  • Understanding of automotive quality and design standards

Japanese languages: Business-level Japanese and business-level English required..
