Job Description
- We are looking for a Bilingual Body-in-White (BIW) Design Engineer with hands-on experience in automotive body components such as doors, hoods, and metal structures.
- The role involves CAD design, modification, and collaboration with cross-functional global teams.
- Design and develop BIW components (door, hood, metal parts, closures)
- Create and modify 3D models and drawings using CATIA
- Support design reviews, feasibility studies, and manufacturing coordination
- Work closely with Japanese and global engineering teams
Qualification:
- Experience in Body-in-White / automotive sheet metal design
- Strong hands-on skills in CATIA
- Knowledge of metal work, stamping, welding processes
- Bilingual skills: Japanese (Business level or above) and English
- Ability to work on-site in Nagoya
Preferred:
- Experience with Japanese automotive OEMs or suppliers
- Understanding of automotive quality and design standards
Japanese languages: Business-level Japanese and business-level English required..
