ServiceNow Project Manager

Job Description

• Lead end-to-end ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM implementations, gaining strong exposure across the full project lifecycle from strategy to delivery and optimization
• Enhance consulting and stakeholder management skills by driving ITIL-based process improvements and collaborating with global teams
• Take ownership of large-scale projects, ensuring quality, cost, and timeline control while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence

Annual salary : 10 Million yen and above

Responsibilities

• Project Management
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Request, Problem, Change, Knowledge, etc.)
  • Oversee ITOM components such as Discovery, Event Management, and CMDB enhancement
  • Manage project scope, budget, resources, timelines, and risks
• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and global stakeholders
  • Facilitate requirement gathering, decision-making, and status reporting
• Process & Technical Consulting
  • Provide guidance on ITIL-based process design and improvement
  • Propose technical solutions and implementation strategies
• Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
  • Support testing (including UAT), post-implementation troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization
  • Conduct reviews and share lessons learned

Job Qualifications:

• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM) Exposure to other ServiceNow modules 
• Experience working with multicultural and offshore teams
• Experience & Skills
  • Proven track record managing large-scale ServiceNow implementation projects
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM and/or ITOM
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes
• Language Proficiency
  • Japanese: Native or Business Level (JLPT N1 equivalent)
  • English: Business Level or higher
• Other Skills
  • Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2 preferred)
  • Strong communication and multitasking abilities
  • Technical acumen in web/software development environments
