Position Name: Account Executive for Financial Services (Insurance)

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of working experience in either a major global insurance company as an executive or business/IT leaders, or 15+ years of business development experience at consulting firm and/or global IT service firm.
• Long term experience in a Japanese financial institute to understand the client decision-making process and organizational culture and dynamics.
• Understand sufficient business, products, industry, market and process knowledge on Japanese insurance company.
• Business development experience in identifying new IT solution provision service, system integration, outsourcing, or consulting service, creating proposals and closing deals for financial clients in insurance industry.
• Strong and effective communication skills at the level of facilitating and negotiating with senior stakeholders and project participants both in Japanese and English. Proven documentation skill in both Japanese and English.
• Experience in selling or creating a large-scale project (i.e., 10+ M USD +/ year), preferably in global context (users, stakeholders, participants, or products).
• Effective team management experience (a team of more than 10+ members)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in working overseas offices.
• Strong market or product knowledge as SME in particular business areas in insurance.
• Good professional and personal relationship with a particular major insurance management.
• Native-level Japanese speaker and very efficient English speaker.
• Knowledge and experience in some key industry specific solutions (Temenos T24, Guidewire, etc.)
