Position Name: Network Engineer Tokyo Job

Annual Salary: 6 million yen and above

Responsibilities:

• Operation and maintenance of fixed network related equipment
• Escalation response from monitoring team
• Responding to inquiries from technical support
• Support for planned maintenance
• Response to equipment maintenance contracts and outsourcing contracts
• Response to requests for consideration from the business team
• Coordination between business operators
• Construction coordination between business operators
• Construction coordination with emergency reporting agencies

Network Engineer Tokyo Job Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in engineering work related to business fixed voice network equipment at a telecommunications carrier or equipment vendor.
• Knowledge and experience with IP networks (L2/L3)
• Knowledge/experience with SIP/RTP protocols
• UNIX/Linux CLI operations
• Ability to work late at night and be on-call during holiday and night hours.
• Understanding of systems related to voice communication services in Japan.

Preferred Qualification:

• Project lead/management experience
• Knowledge/experience with mobile IMS
• Knowledge/experience with cloud platforms
• Knowledge and experience in network security

Japanese Language : Bussiness level Japanese (JLPT N2) and Business level english.
