Job Description

Position Name: Technical Support Engineer Tokyo Job

Annual Salary : 7 million and above

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd level technical support to resolve end user issues, this includes software, hardware, application issues in IT ticketing system
  • Coordinate and Collaboration with Client’s 1st / 1.5 level Global Service Desk, 2nd level INF Managed Service provider to continually improve quality of service for customers/users
  • Continuous observation or analysis of potential shift-left capabilities from our IT/Businesses system to improve more areas such knowledge articles improvement, reduce current tickets flooding to assigned workgroups, improve flexibility workflow Serve as a Subject Matter Expert of specific IT Infrastructure Service (EG: Outlook, Office 365, Mobility Services, etc.) on behalf of GAE App Support and Triage Organization

Technical Support Engineer Tokyo Job Qualifications:

  • Knowledge/Experience in following IT Infrastructure technologies
    • Windows and Apple operating system
    • O365 Applications
      • Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
      • OneDrive
      • OneNote
      • Microsoft Teams
      • Microsoft SharePointPowerApps
    • Knowledge and general usage expertise of Azure Active Directory/ Active Directory
    • Citrix/My Workspace
    • Mobile Intune (for Mobility MDM (Mobile Device Management) Administration)
    • ServiceNow
  • Language skills: Japanese and English necessary.
  • Organized and deadline driven with the ability to track multiple tasks simultaneously. Able to effectively set priorities and work well under deadlines with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong team player with the ability to learn, as well as have a solution-oriented approach and prefer to work in an international and intercultural environment
  • Understanding of ITIL (ITIL® (IT Infrastructure Library)) methodology for Incident and Problem Management, ITIL v4 Foundation Certification a plus
  • Project management Experience a plus, Jira/Confluence Tools a plus
  • 3 years Minimum experience in IT Infrastructure environment 
  • Associates/bachelor's degree in University/College

Japanese Languages: Japanese Fluent level N1 and English Business level.
