Position Name: PMO Application Development Tokyo Job

Annually Salary: 8 million yen and above

Responsibilities:

• Provides expertise for the project implementation life cycle and is responsible for planning/executing technical activities in the technical areas of the project as long as the end result meets acceptable standards (quality, quantity, timeliness, etc.).
• Managing the project delivery process including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, budgeting and invoicing
• Coordinate cross-functional teams within the Engineering department to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide regular project updates to clients and internal stakeholders, including status reports, risk assessments, progress reports, etc.
• Manage project risks and issues, escalate risks to clients and internal stakeholders, define risk mitigation and contingency plans to ensure timely resolution

PMO Application Development Tokyo Job Qualifications:

• Related field experience: At least 5 years
• Personal credibility from the customer's perspective is essential
• Experience managing cloud and virtualization technology (preferably AWS) projects
• Experience managing and planning projects that utilize cloud platform services, applications, and monitoring services in areas that require optimization
• Ability to adopt and initiate innovative practices (MLDevOps, automation, AI/ML, etc.) adopted especially in the hyperscale market to drive operational efficiency in team collaboration
• Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English, both written and spoken
• Facilitating smooth communication between regions, especially when the local team only speaks Japanese and the offshore team only speaks English
• Extensive hands-on experience delivering enterprise-level IT consulting projects leveraging Agile or Waterfall methodologies
• Experience utilizing Agile or Waterfall methodologies to deliver projects.
• Experience with Agile and project management toolsets (Miro, Jira, RallyDev, etc.)
• Ability to smoothly lead meetings and follow up on decisions made at meetings
• As part of your job, you will be required to travel to client locations and company events as needed. Bilingual (Japanese and English) knowledge is a must

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelor of Computer Science
• Project management certification (APM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2 SAFe (Scaled Agile), etc.) 
• Certified with AWS/Cloud experience 

Japanese Language: Japanese Business level required and business level english required
