Position Name: Senior Test Engineer Tokyo Job

Annual Salary: 6 million yen or higher

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java
• Responsible for automation planning & status reporting to client.
• Guide other team members on code quality, governance & support in case of any technical assistance required
• Responsible for code review of automation scripts and providing feedback based on best practices
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins & provide knowledge to team on setup and maintenance of pipelines.
• Ensure that automated tests are run as part of the build process and responsible to any customization on the jenkins report outputs.
• Use GitHub for version control to manage and track changes in test scripts.
• Collaborate with team members through pull requests and code reviews.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using a bug tracking tool.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in test automation.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

Senior Test Engineer Tokyo Job Qualifications:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in Testing
• 4 to 6 years of proficiency in Java programming.
• 5 to 7 years of experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• 4 to 6 years of knowledge of Jenkins for CI/CD.
• 5 to 7 years of experience with GitHub for version control.

Japanese Languages : Business level japanese and Business level English
