The Company MNO Project Management Office (PMO) is a newly created organization, responsible for governance and oversight of critical enterprise-wide projects. The PMO provides the project management processes, business analysis, and execution support, for high-visibility projects.
The PMO is responsible for: processes and tools supporting program management efforts, the definition of requirements, and the monitoring/reporting of key project and program metrics. The PMO works closely with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Within the PMO, the Junior Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting Project Managers to be more effective and productive. This challenging position will require the candidate to be able to successfully communicate with internal technology and business functions, as well as working closely with external vendors and service providers.
- Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Bring to the attention of Project Managers, risks and issues associated with projects
- Prepare and update schedules for projects
- Support other PMO members with project scheduling and calendar management
- Prepare and update PMO documentation
- Prepare and update project documentation
- Support Project Managers in managing stakeholder expectations and project communications
- Work closely with other PMO members to increase the skills and knowledge of project management within Company MNO
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Clear, concise verbal and written communications skills
- Desire to support others to be more effective and productive
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders of various backgrounds
- Business level English and Japanese
- 1+ years successful previous Project or Product Management experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on IT projects
Languages:
English (Overall - 4 - Fluent), Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)
