Position Name :IT Service Delivery Level2 : DBA

The IT Service Delivery L2 Service provides overall day to day and strategic leadership in the development, implementation and maintenance of all systems infrastructure platforms, hardware and software in the following functional areas ;

  • Windows/Linux OS,
  • Oracle/SQL DBA,
  • DevOps,
  • Network/Security/Infrastructure
  • VoIP Communications and Contact Center management
  • System Administration. Support in-house projects to follow global project framework and achieve requirement/timeline


Business knowledge expected to deliver the service:

  • Strong technical background and experience of database management (Oracle 12c/19c, Microsoft SQL)
  • Installation, patching, instance creation and configuration
  • Administration ; user, table, index, tablespace
  • Operation ; PL/SQL, SQL*Loader, Export, Import
  • Log analysis and trouble shooting
  • Performance analysis and tuning
  • Version up, migration (especially Oracle 12c to 19c)  And not limited above
  • Technical background and experience with Unix/Linux/Windows management
  • Certificate or knowledge of ITILv3 base IT service management
  • English skill between native and business (Mainly communicate with other team in overseas) and native and business Japanese skill
  • Troubleshooting skills (patience and determination to find and solve problems)
  • Developed communication skills, both written and verbal with great attention to detail, for global project of multinational teams Service hours:

Shift (Weekday[Early/Normal/Late]: 8:00 ~ 22:00, Weekend 9:00~18:00)   Weekday 9:00~18:00

Activity examples:

  • Change Management : Review and execution of DB change requests ; instance, configuration, patching, user, table, index, tablespace, and so on
  • Monitoring : Execution of DB monitoring for ; post DB change release, post application change release without DB change, regular analysis, and so on
  • Support : Execution of DB operation requests on production/testing/development ; SQL, data export & import, investigation, performance analysis & tuning, and so on
  • Inventory Management : Update of inventory at the change of ; DB, User, and so on
  • Project : Performing ; DB design with other teams, version up, migration, and so on
