Position Name: Data Architect for Financial Industry

Industry: Financial Services

Project Description:

Consolidate main regions ledger data into one data model and seek standardization /optimization of the process globally. This project aims to centralize global ledger data modelling and collaborate with IT to improve source ledger infrastructure so that every finance user can take the benefit by breaking silo data process.


  • Understand the data model of each ledger (Dodge for EMEA/AEJ, People soft for Japan/US)
  • Aggregate and understand business and data requirement of each function in finance
  • Collaborate with other projects
  • Design data model of consolidated ledger schema
  • Perform POC using several technologies
  • Aggregate various user requirements and convert into single data model
  • Design consolidated ledger schema, perform POC


  • Knowledge and experience of accounting space [mandatory]
  • Knowledge of financial regulation [mandatory]
  • Technical skills --- Database, Data Modelling, Network, BI Tool, Calculation Algorithm [mandatory]
  • Deep knowledge and insight of database structure and model [mandatory]
  • English business level [mandatory]
  • Japanese native level Skills 
  • Communication skills to deal with wider stakeholder [mandatory]
  • Understanding of trading and investment banking business
  • Bilingual Requirements: JapaneseN Level Skills & English business level
